It's The Little Things

NYFW

I loved mini skirts since I was a teenager but past a certain age it seems to be a faux pas to wear one. Lately though mini skirt trends have evolved from their usual body hugging shape to a more casual fitting-yet-comfortable a-line shape (just check out the NYFW street style). What's even better is that they have buttons and pockets, and I am a big fan.

This skirt is one of my favorites within the trend. I cant wait to dress this mini with thigh high boots when it starts to get cooler, but I don't have to wait because I can wear it now when it's warmer out. It flatters all sorts of body types and is a great medium wash denim. I found this Topshop gem in Nordstrom and it's definitely not the last time you're going to see it!

Since its supposedly the beginning of fall and fall colors are the best colors- I paired this skirt with this brick colored wrap blouse that I bought a while ago from DVF. You can find a similar one here.

As I am obsessed with lace up shoes/sandals. I recently bought these suede sandals from Topshop which I love. Due to the heel height they are extremely comfortable as well. I walked in them for hours during NYFW.
