It's a Wrap.

Paris

On the last stretch of our trip, we explored the beautiful city of Paris some more, wrapped in the most comfortable mid-season staple.

I wore a vintage white silk wrap dress, which I rejuvenated by wearing classic white converse and a Marc Jacobs watch. Mom wore her tan Uniqlo wrap-unfortunately, but understandably sold out- with tan cutout aquazzura booties, some interesting pieces of jewelry (look at that palm cuff, courtesy of Rue Gembon) and a bold lip to make the dress more sophisticated to fight jersey fabric's bathrobe-esque characteristics.

Wrap dresses are one of the most underrated wardrobe staples- because they're almost a secret in that not everyone owns one. Well let me tell you this- THIS is a lazy girls dream come true; you don't have to put too much effort into your look, you can dress it up or down, it not only hugs your body in the right places but is also comprised of enough fabric to give it a liberating appeal. All you have to do is find the right fabric and color. Seriously. I'd even go so far as to say that they're the elegant, nay enlightened sister of your favorite sweatpants.

That convinced you, didn't it? Well, we did a little bit of research for ya- our wrap dress roundup from all sorts of places... click the pictures below to shop for your favorite fall staple.
